- Hi!.I had a mixed age N/K program for 4 years in a home in Orange County, NY. I brought to it my more than 20 years experience as a Waldorf teacher and NJ inner city public school teacher. Older children learned social skills and helped the younger children develop them. Creative activities such as watercolor, sewing, knitting, circle time, singing, storytelling, puppetry,baking, nature walks, outdoor play, animal care and more were included in the daily rhythm. Children "graduated" to the local Waldorf school (Mountain Laurel in New Paltz) or local public school programs as the school closed July 21, 2011 so I could take on a teaching asssignment in a Waldorf school in Richmond, VA. CATHRYN'S CREATIONS... I have a love of sharing handwork creations..and also helping people learn their own abilities to create beautiful dolls, clothing, yarn, and more! Over 30 years experience in the natural arts of dyeing, crocheting, knitting, spinning, weaving, paper arts..also, water color with children..
